Πρόσφατα έπεσε στα χέρια μου ένα διπλό cd της τούρκικης εταιρείας KALAN με τίτλο: "Masters of Turkic music - Kenence". Στα cd αυτά περιέχονται ηχογραφήσεις με κεμεντζέ από τις αρχές έως τα μέσα του 20ου αιώνα. Μεταξύ των οργανοπαικτών συναντάμε:
1. Σε 3 ή 4 ηχογραφήσεις τον ANASTAS
2. Σε 2 ηχογραφήσεις τον SOTIRI
3. Σε δύο ηχογραφήσεις τον Paraşko Leondarides
Ο Παράσχος Λεονταρίδης προφανώς κάποια σχέση θα έχει με το γνωστό μας Λάμπρο Λεονταρίδη, αλλά για τους άλλους δύο καλλιτέχνες δεν γνωρίζω τίποτα. Μήπως κανείς φίλος ξέρει κάτι?

Σύμφωνα με το "Λεξικό της Ελληνικής Μουσικής" του Τ. Καλογερόπουλου, ο Παράσχος Λεονταρίδης ήταν αδερφός του Λάμπρου. Παραθέτω το σχετικό απόσπασμα :
«Λεονταρίδης Αναστάσιος (19ος-20ος αι.). Σπουδαίος λυράρης, γιος του λυράρη Λεωνίδα Λεονταρίδη και θείος του Γιώργου Μπατζανού. Έπαιζε και στη Ραδιοφωνία της Πόλης και έχουν διασωθεί ηχογραφήσεις του. Πέθανε το 1938, αφήνοντας 2 γιους μουσικούς: τον λυράρη Παράσχο Λεονταρίδη (γ. το 1912) και τον Λάμπρο Λεονταρίδη, που μετά την Καταστροφή του 1922 μετείχε σε ηχογραφήσεις ρεμπέτικων και λαϊκών τραγουδιών στην Ελλάδα.»
Τώρα, για τον SOTIRI, ενδεχομένως να πρόκειται για τον Σωτήρη Τσάνταλη. Το σχετικό απόσπασμα (από το ίδιο βιβλίο): «Ονομαστός λυράρης στην Κων/πολη των πρώτων δεκαετιών του 20ου αι. Καταγόταν από τη Σηλυβρία (ανιψιός του Αν. Λεονταρίτη). Εθεωρείτο ο καλύτερος λυράρης της εποχής του και τον σύγκριναν με τον μεγάλο Cemil Bey. Έπαιζε σε ταβέρνες και μετείχε σε δισκογραφήσεις της His masters voice. Πέθανε το 1939. Ο αδελφός του Νικολάκης Τσάνταλης ήταν κι αυτός λυράρης».

A few things can be said about his kemençe style: In these two taksims, especially in the hicaz taksim, Sotiri is seen to resemble Aleko Bacanos in his style. One gets the feeling that Aleko Bacanos was influenced more by his cousin Sotiri than by his uncle Anastas.
